Macintosh eScale DiagnosticsOld measurements stored in Scale |
The eScale is capable of storing around 20 measurements for transferring to a computer at a later time. Any measurement taken while either the eScale test page or eScale weight entry page are not displayed in a web browser will be stored in the eScale for later transmission to the computer.
Normally, new measurements will interrupt the transmission of any previously stored measurements and be transmitted immediately after the new measurement is taken. This behavior is not guaranteed. Although the previously stored weights are transmitted to the computer, any measurement older than one minute will be discarded by the software. It is possible that the transmission of previously stored weights might delay the transmission of the new measurement, causing the new weight to be discarded. This behavior is not normal, but is possible and more probable if the eScale is being used for the first time with your computer.
You can verify the transmission of older measurements to the computer by opening the Console application, located in the Utilities folder of the Application folder. Any older measurements that are discarded will show up in the Console log as a line similar to:
[OLD_DATA_IGNORED]Measurement at 12/14/2005 15:32:52, Transmission at 12/14/2005 15:38:11, ST,+0043.6lb
