Macintosh eScale Diagnostics

Your eCare preferences are set to use manual weight entry. If you have an eScale, set the preferences to use eScale weight entry as described below.

Go to the eCare home page. Click on the Weigh-In Preferences icon.

Once you open the weigh-in preferences, you will be able to set the weigh-in method to use the eScale instead of entering the weight manually. Click on the radio button next to "Use eScale connected to this computer" and then click Save.

The Weigh-In Method icon on the eCare home page will now show that the weigh-in method is set to use an eScale. Click on the "Add results to your weight chart" icon and verify that the correct weight entry page is loaded.

NOTE: clicking on the test eScale link will NOT verify the correct preference setting as it always loads the page for the eScale.
