Is your computer set to be discoverable by other Bluetooth devices?

Yes  No

Your computer must be set to be "Bluetooth Discoverable", meaning that other bluetooth devices can locate your computer.

If you have the Bluetooth menu displayed in the menubar you may verify that your computer is set to be discoverable by looking in the Bluetooth menu. If it shows a check mark next to the Discoverable item then it is set to be discoverable.
